Windham, NY – 7:00 PM EDT – The Windham Town Board would like to thank the Town of Windham Police Policy Review Committee for their successful completion of the Town of Windham and Windham Police Department Collaboration Plan.
“I would like to thank Marilyn Carreras, Ryan Dempsy, William MacGregor, and Chief Tor Tryland for serving on the Town of Windham Police Policy Review Committee. They voluntarily dedicated countless hours to reviewing, analyzing, and revising the Windham Police Department’s policies and procedures. Their time, expertise, and experience are shown in the Town of Windham and Windham Police Department Collaboration Plan,” said Windham Councilman Kurt Goettsche, who was also Chairman of the committee.
“I’m pleased with how the plan turned out. The committee worked diligently in an abbreviated schedule with no president,” said Goettsche. “The committee completed the plan weeks before the State’s deadline, which symbolizes how hard everyone worked.”
